NEWTON University is the lead programme partner of the Summer Entrepreneurship Camp (LPK). Now in its 11th year, the camp is being held at the modern Lísek CR training and recreation centre in the heart of the Žďár Hills. The camp offers an intensive personal and professional development programme for young people from children's homes, shelters and foster families. Its mission is to equip participants with the skills, confidence and practical experience they need to succeed in both life and their future careers. Alongside participants from across the Czech Republic, this year's camp will also welcome one participant from Vietnam, two from Slovakia and seven young people from Ukraine who have sought refuge in the Czech Republic and are now continuing their education here. Together with NEWTON University students and alumni, they will create a unique environment where young people from different countries and life experiences can connect, learn from one another and build meaningful relationships. It is this diversity that encourages mutual understanding, respect, collaboration and lasting friendships.
NEWTON University receives international recognition for its approach to sustainability
NEWTON University has become the only private university from the Czech Republic included in the prestigious Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026. The university achieved a particularly strong result in the area of decent work and economic growth.

NEWTON University and ČMA Are Redefining the DNA of Czech Leadership
After years of co-hosting the Manager of the Year Conference, NEWTON University and the Czech Management Association (ČMA) are launching a new Center of Excellence. Their ambition is clear. They want to move beyond gut-driven management and shift toward a more rigorous, evidence-based approach.
As the analytical partner, NEWTON will lead in-depth data research. The result will be a new standard of next-generation leadership built on data, AI, and leadership psychology.
This initiative aims to professionalize management by connecting real-world expertise with scientific insight. The goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of Czech companies.

NEWTON University is a Co-organiser of the EAI Mobility, IoT and Smart Cities 2026 Conference
NEWTON University is involved in the organisation of the international conference Mobility, IoT and Smart Life & Business & Education 2026, which will take place in two weeks’ time at the end of March. The conference was originally planned to be held in Dubai, but due to the current political situation, it has been moved to an online format. The event brings together experts from academia and industry in the fields of intelligent mobility and smart cities.

Since 2025, we have been members of the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Network, which connects higher education institutions focused on sustainability and social impact. Our long-term commitment to these topics has also been reflected in the international Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, where NEWTON University became the only private university from the Czech Republic among the assessed institutions.

I chose this field because it combines creativity with practical skills – and that’s exactly what I enjoy. Studying at NEWTON was a great experience for me. I truly enjoyed my follow-on Master’s degree here, especially as I could compare it with my Bachelor’s studies at a state university.
