High schools
Welcome to our Secondary School Collaboration Initiative
At NEWTON University, we value collaboration and the exchange of knowledge. We’re excited to open our doors to secondary schools for mutually beneficial partnerships. Explore the opportunities below to learn more about how we can work together to enhance educational experiences for students.
NOVÝ PORG, Prague
We like to help young talents, which is why we partnered with the prestigious Nový PORG high school. Most of its ambitious graduates aim high, so we support the promising young generation in a way that makes sense to us.
We support the annual Porgmun conferencea, fully organised by ambitious students of Nový PORG and PORG Libeň eager to engage in international politics.
PORGMUN Conference, 10 — 13 April 2024.
PORGMUN Conference, 7 — 10 March 2024.
From March 7th to 10th, 2024, we were hosting the PORGMUN conference at our facility located in the Prague Congress Centre, one of the biggest congress venues in Prague.
During the event, 400 students gathered for Model United Nations discussions, addressing pressing global issues and offering fresh perspectives on the world.
They are prepared, organised, ambitious and brilliant. It is a joy to watch the next generation of graduates from world-renowned universities and NEWTON.
Curious about what PORGMUN looked like? Let’s take a look!

NEWTON University presents at PBIS fair
Recently, NEWTON visited the Prague British International School (PBIS) as part of a promotion event aimed at high school students exploring their future educational options. Alongside other universities, we showcased our unique programs, student life, and international opportunities, engaging with curious students. The event provided an excellent platform for students to interact directly with us, ask questions, and gain insights into what studying at NEWTON could offer them in terms of academic development and global career prospects.
MIT bronze boosts our school presentation
We had the opportunity to engage with students of the American Academy in Prague, sharing our expertise and introducing NEWTON University. An alumnus, who achieved a bronze medal at the Medical Hackathon at MIT, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, joined us, sharing his experiences and underscoring the benefits of connecting academic achievements with high school education.
The path to success is through collaboration and sharing
We believe that the mutual exchange of ideas and experiences between academia and high school students is beneficial for both parties. Recently, our senior lecturer, Jerome Dumetz, was invited by Pražské Humanitní Gymnázium to share his expertise on cross-cultural communication with their class. This collaboration highlights our commitment to learning and sharing knowledge.
