I am very satisfied with my studies at NEWTON University. When I was choosing a university, NU appealed to me mainly because of its strong focus on practice, which was particularly important to me, as I wanted to support and later work in our family business during my studies. In the specialisation Management and Entrepreneurship, the university guided me through various areas of business, where I worked on many projects related to our company – both individually and in groups. As a graduate of Global Business and Management at NEWTON University, I originally started out as an interior designer for the Swedish brand IKEA. I have completed a number of projects that can still be seen today, for example at IKEA Černý Most. Thanks to my studies, I have now expanded into the field of project management and am involved in the construction of warehouse complexes at AIR DEPO in Tuchoměřice and KKIG Park in Běchovice, in cooperation with KKIG Holding.

Studying at NEWTON was a great experience for me. I truly enjoyed my follow-on Master’s degree here, especially as I could compare it with my Bachelor’s studies at a state university. Both types of schools have their strengths, but what impressed me most at NEWTON was the attitude of the lecturers – they treat you as an equal partner, which is incredibly refreshing. The teaching is very practical, which I enjoyed the most. Most lecturers come directly from the industry, so the lectures aren’t just theory disconnected from reality, but content that truly makes sense. Most importantly, they are passionate about what they do – and you can feel it. Especially in marketing, it’s great that the university keeps pace with current trends and developments in the field.
