Jan Opletal Awards

At NEWTON University, we value the outstanding individuals among our students and alumni who inspire others through their initiative, courage, and engagement. The Jan Opletal Awards are dedicated to them, honoring young people for civic involvement, community support, and the courage to address important issues.

Anyone can submit a nomination, and we would be delighted if our students and alumni were among the nominees.
The deadline for nominations is October 24, 2025. The award is presented in three categories.
