The Global Business and Management program will provide you with a broad and solid foundation for success in an international environment. Your studies will focus on macroeconomics, microeconomics, and other areas key to business management and strategy.

Originally, I wanted to study Innovative Entrepreneurship at ČZU. I was looking for a programme with plenty of practical experience, where I could actually create something during my studies. Luckily, things didn’t work out at ČZU, and on a friend’s recommendation, I chose NEWTON instead. He convinced me with the amazing approach of the lecturers, who are not afraid to say things as they really are. At the same time, I didn’t spend that much time at school, as I was often at training sessions or various events where I tried to gain some know-how. That’s exactly what makes NEWTON outstanding. Besides gaining a lot of practical knowledge, you also have plenty of time you can use effectively.

Study options
Professional focus Global Business and Management is part of the Bachelor’s degree programme Economics and Management (Bc.) and focuses on business management, strategy, and decision-making in an international environment. The programme is taught in English and can be studied on-campus or online.
With any programme, you can choose the NEWTON Premium option, giving you maximum support for your personal, academic and professional growth.

Applications
We accept applications until the end of September. After this date, applications are assessed individually based on the available capacity of each specialization.
What your studies look like
The programme lasts 6 semesters and includes a compulsory internship. From the summer semester of the 2nd year, there is less classroom teaching as students focus on their placements, and in the 3rd year on writing their final thesis and preparing for the state final examinations.
The programme can also be completed in a blended format, delivered over 6 selected weekends per semester in Prague, Brno and Bratislava. This flexible mode of study preserves the full curriculum, and attendance at individual sessions is not a requirement for academic success. The teaching also reflects specific corporate and professional needs from practice.
