X-tream Management is an intensive management programme that simulates real crisis and day-to-day situations. Participants train, in a safe environment, how to make decisions under uncertainty, work with team emotions, and develop their own leadership. The programme includes an assessment of natural strengths and delivers immediately applicable skills that lead to more effective management of others and of oneself.

Two inspiring representatives connected to NEWTON University have reached the finals of the Jan Opletal Awards 2025, which celebrate young people under 30 who are shaping a better society through their courage and initiative. Vojtěch Toman, a NEWTON University graduate, impressed the jury with his project Game of Life, which connects people through public events and inspires them to live boldly and authentically. He is also the founder of the eco-brand OneCup, whose stainless-steel cups help reduce global plastic waste.

This spring, I had the opportunity to speak at the Smart Zero City 2025 conference in Taiwan, organised by Yuan Ze University and chaired by Professor Miko Yu — a gathering of experts, innovators, and city leaders exploring how to future-proof urban life. We heard about digital infrastructure, green energy, and smart transport systems.
